Fitting your HIPPO is straightforward, requiring neither tools nor a plumber. Simply remove the cistern lid, submerge the HIPPO in the water and position under the ball cock. If your cistern does not have a ball cock just place the HIPPO in the available space for the same water saving results. Each HIPPO has a small hole punched in both sides to allow a free flow of water as the cistern empties and re-fills. This ensures the water stays fresh inside the HIPPO and doesn't become stale.

Note: the water in toilet cisterns is 'clean' water.
